

I have changed that to 2011, rebooted, but BIOS still shows 2099, and time and date has reverted to 1999, but with the other elements of the date still correct. I have now booted the laptop again, without changing the date in BIOS, and have opened the time and date settings for some strange reason, this is now showing the year as 1999 - this is a new development today! The other elements are correct except, of course, the day. Anyways heres the link to download the American Megatrends bios v207: DOWNLOAD FROM. I then restarted, and I am looking at the BIOS main page now - the System Date is showing as 'Sun '. It booted normally, then I checked the date and time settings on the desktop (Gnome) - the year was showing 2011. Today, I decided to let the laptop boot without checking the BIOS. () This site maintains listings of bios updates available on the web, organized by company. At the moment, it's always and only the year which changes, and always to 2099, which I reset to 2011. I usually look at the BIOS settings before booting.
